Hi! Thanks so much for visiting my page. I was born and raised in Denton, Texas by two loving, hippie, psychologist parents. A standard family dinner was spent analyzing the motivations behind various reactions or behaviors. I’m well into adulthood now and it’s still my favorite topic to discuss. After graduating from high school, I spent a couple of years in Dallas before settling down in Austin about 20 years ago. These days, I’m always on the lookout for a new trail to hike around the city with my nine year old son, Asher, and my dog, Tyson.

I’ve always been a people person, so I knew I wanted to spend my career in a helping field. I started by getting my Bachelor’s in speech therapy. After a few years in the field, I realized the enormous role insurance companies played in my profession and it drove me to learn more. I went back and earned a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, so that I could have better tools in the future to help other healthcare professionals with the frustrating process of insurance reimbursement.

I started my administrative work for a speech therapy company and was able to grow my skills into the field of mental health. When I found myself in a position to become independent, I jumped at the opportunity. Now, I get to help mental health professionals become independent, too. I have found my niche. Having been raised by two psychologists, I speak your language. I understand your motivations. I realize that trust in the relationship we build is almost as important as getting you paid. I am incredibly lucky to be able to work with compassionate, empathetic, emotionally intelligent professionals.

I love my job so much.
